This Privacy Policy explains how Paw Plan ("Paw Plan", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit paw-plan.com, use the Paw Plan web application, or interact with us in any other way (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with how we handle information as described here, please do not use the Service.
This Policy is written for users in the United States, including California residents whose rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") are described in Section 6.
Paw Plan provides a digital dog-training service. Purchases of any Paw Plan subscription or product are processed by Whop Inc. ("Whop"), which acts as the merchant of record. Whop collects and processes your payment information directly under its own privacy policy (https://whop.com/privacy). We do not receive or store full payment-card details.
You can reach us at support@paw-plan.com.
We collect only the information we need to operate the Service and to communicate with you.
When you create an account or complete a purchase, you provide:
We do not ask you to upload photos or videos of your dog, and we do not systematically collect health, veterinary, or behavioral assessment data about your dog as part of the Service.
When you visit paw-plan.com or use the Service we (and certain third parties acting on our behalf) automatically collect:
When you complete a purchase through Whop, we receive a confirmation that includes your name, email address, the product purchased, the amount paid, the country/region used for tax calculation, and a transaction identifier. We do not receive your full payment-card number.
We use the information described in Section 2 for the following purposes:
We do not use your information to train any artificial-intelligence model. The Paw Plan training plan is generated by a rules-based system, not by a machine-learning model that learns from user data.
We share information only as described below.
We use a small number of vendors to operate the Service. They process information only on our instructions and only as needed to perform the service we have engaged them for:
| Vendor | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Whop Inc. | Payment processing, merchant-of-record services, subscription management |
| Mailgun | Sending transactional and marketing emails |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Hosting, content delivery, security, and DDoS protection for our public sites and funnels |
| OVH | Hosting of our application backend and storage of user/account data |
| Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) | Web analytics and audience measurement |
| Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) | Conversion measurement and advertising attribution |
We use Meta Pixel and Google Analytics on paw-plan.com and our checkout funnels. These technologies place cookies and may receive identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP addresses) and information about your visit. This enables us to measure the performance of our advertising and reach users who may be interested in our Service.
Under California law, this activity may qualify as "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 6.4.
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, court order, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public.
If Paw Plan is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require any successor to continue handling your information in accordance with this Policy or to give you notice of any material change.
We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to operate the Service, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. The categories we use are:
You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the Service.
We currently do not display a cookie consent banner because the Service is operated for the United States market, where opt-in consent for cookies is generally not required. California residents have specific opt-out rights described in Section 6.4.
You may ask us what categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a portable, commonly used format.
You may ask us to correct inaccurate information, or to delete personal information we hold about you. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@paw-plan.com from the email address associated with your account. We will action your request within a reasonable time, subject to limited exceptions described in Section 8 (for example, information we are required by law to retain for tax or accounting purposes).
You have the right to opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (such as the use of Meta Pixel and Google Analytics described in Section 4.2). You may opt out by:
We will not deny you our Service, charge you a different price, or provide you with a different level of quality because you exercised any of your privacy rights.
To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at support@paw-plan.com from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request — typically by confirming the request from your account email and asking for information that matches what we have on file. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (under CCPA, generally within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension).
If you would like to designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights on your behalf, please email us with written authorization signed by you.
You may also lodge a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency (https://cppa.ca.gov) or the office of your state attorney general.
If you complete a purchase, we may send you marketing emails (for example, tips, product news, promotions). Every marketing email contains a clear unsubscribe link. Clicking it will remove you from our marketing list within a few business days. You will continue to receive transactional messages (account, billing, security, support) even after unsubscribing.
You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing support@paw-plan.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe".
We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy:
When we no longer have a legitimate business or legal need to retain personal information, we delete it or de-identify it.
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and security monitoring.
No security measure is perfect. You can help protect your information by using a strong, unique password and by notifying us at support@paw-plan.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
The Service is operated for users in the United States. However, certain service providers we rely on may process data outside the United States. In particular:
Where personal information is transferred outside your country of residence, we take steps designed to ensure that it continues to be protected to a standard consistent with this Policy.
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@paw-plan.com and we will delete the information promptly.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, Whop). This Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third party before providing them with personal information.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at paw-plan.com/privacy and update the "Effective Date" at the top. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or through a prominent notice on the Service) before the changes take effect.
Your continued use of the Service after the new Effective Date means you accept the updated Policy.
