Privacy Policy

Effective Date: May 5, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Paw Plan ("Paw Plan", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit paw-plan.com, use the Paw Plan web application, or interact with us in any other way (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with how we handle information as described here, please do not use the Service.

This Policy is written for users in the United States, including California residents whose rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA") as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA") are described in Section 6.

1. About Paw Plan & Payment Processing

Paw Plan provides a digital dog-training service. Purchases of any Paw Plan subscription or product are processed by Whop Inc. ("Whop"), which acts as the merchant of record. Whop collects and processes your payment information directly under its own privacy policy (https://whop.com/privacy). We do not receive or store full payment-card details.

You can reach us at support@paw-plan.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the information we need to operate the Service and to communicate with you.

2.1 Information you provide

When you create an account or complete a purchase, you provide:

  • Account information — your email address and name.
  • Location information — your country and, where required for tax purposes, your state or region (collected by Whop at checkout).
  • Information about your dog — name, breed, age, weight, and sex. We use this to generate your personalized training plan.
  • Communications — when you contact support, we receive whatever information you choose to share with us in your message.

We do not ask you to upload photos or videos of your dog, and we do not systematically collect health, veterinary, or behavioral assessment data about your dog as part of the Service.

2.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit paw-plan.com or use the Service we (and certain third parties acting on our behalf) automatically collect:

  • Device and browser information — device type, operating system, browser type and version, language, screen size.
  • Connection information — IP address, approximate location (city/region derived from IP), and the referring URL.
  • Usage information — pages viewed, links clicked, session duration, time stamps, and similar interaction data.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.

2.3 Information we receive from Whop

When you complete a purchase through Whop, we receive a confirmation that includes your name, email address, the product purchased, the amount paid, the country/region used for tax calculation, and a transaction identifier. We do not receive your full payment-card number.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described in Section 2 for the following purposes:

  • to provide the Service — including creating your account, generating your personalized training plan, and giving you access to any add-on services you have purchased (such as the Bark Button or Video Lessons);
  • to process and manage purchases — through Whop, including renewals, refunds, and cancellations;
  • to communicate with you — about your account, your subscription, important updates, and customer-support requests;
  • to send marketing emails — about new features, tips, and promotions, with a clear unsubscribe option in every message (see Section 7);
  • to measure and improve the Service — through analytics that help us understand which pages and features are useful;
  • to run and measure advertising — including conversion tracking on our advertising platforms (see Section 4);
  • to protect the Service — against fraud, abuse, security threats, and chargeback abuse, and to enforce our Terms of Service;
  • to comply with our legal obligations — including tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law.

We do not use your information to train any artificial-intelligence model. The Paw Plan training plan is generated by a rules-based system, not by a machine-learning model that learns from user data.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below.

4.1 Service providers (processors acting on our behalf)

We use a small number of vendors to operate the Service. They process information only on our instructions and only as needed to perform the service we have engaged them for:

Vendor Purpose
Whop Inc. Payment processing, merchant-of-record services, subscription management
Mailgun Sending transactional and marketing emails
Cloudflare, Inc. Hosting, content delivery, security, and DDoS protection for our public sites and funnels
OVH Hosting of our application backend and storage of user/account data
Google LLC (Google Analytics 4) Web analytics and audience measurement
Meta Platforms, Inc. (Meta Pixel and Conversions API) Conversion measurement and advertising attribution

4.2 Advertising partners

We use Meta Pixel and Google Analytics on paw-plan.com and our checkout funnels. These technologies place cookies and may receive identifiers (such as cookie IDs and IP addresses) and information about your visit. This enables us to measure the performance of our advertising and reach users who may be interested in our Service.

Under California law, this activity may qualify as "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described in Section 6.4.

4.3 Legal disclosures

We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, court order, or governmental request, or is necessary to protect our rights, safety, or property, or that of our users or the public.

4.4 Business transfers

If Paw Plan is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require any successor to continue handling your information in accordance with this Policy or to give you notice of any material change.

4.5 What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
  • We do not rent or trade email lists.
  • We do not share information with data brokers.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies (such as pixels and local storage) to operate the Service, remember your preferences, measure performance, and support advertising. The categories we use are:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the Service to function (e.g. session and authentication cookies).
  • Analytics — to understand how visitors use the Service (Google Analytics 4).
  • Advertising — to measure ad performance and support remarketing (Meta Pixel; Google measurement).

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break parts of the Service.

We currently do not display a cookie consent banner because the Service is operated for the United States market, where opt-in consent for cookies is generally not required. California residents have specific opt-out rights described in Section 6.4.

6. Your Privacy Rights

6.1 Right to know what we collect

You may ask us what categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.

6.2 Right to access and to a copy

You may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you in a portable, commonly used format.

6.3 Right to correct and right to delete

You may ask us to correct inaccurate information, or to delete personal information we hold about you. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing support@paw-plan.com from the email address associated with your account. We will action your request within a reasonable time, subject to limited exceptions described in Section 8 (for example, information we are required by law to retain for tax or accounting purposes).

6.4 Right to opt out of sharing for advertising (California)

You have the right to opt out of the "sharing" of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (such as the use of Meta Pixel and Google Analytics described in Section 4.2). You may opt out by:

  • emailing support@paw-plan.com with the subject line "Do Not Share My Information"; or
  • enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. We honor GPC signals as a valid opt-out request for the browser that sends them.

6.5 Right to non-discrimination

We will not deny you our Service, charge you a different price, or provide you with a different level of quality because you exercised any of your privacy rights.

6.6 How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of the rights above, contact us at support@paw-plan.com from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request — typically by confirming the request from your account email and asking for information that matches what we have on file. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (under CCPA, generally within 45 days, with one possible 45-day extension).

If you would like to designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights on your behalf, please email us with written authorization signed by you.

You may also lodge a complaint with the California Privacy Protection Agency (https://cppa.ca.gov) or the office of your state attorney general.

7. Marketing Communications

If you complete a purchase, we may send you marketing emails (for example, tips, product news, promotions). Every marketing email contains a clear unsubscribe link. Clicking it will remove you from our marketing list within a few business days. You will continue to receive transactional messages (account, billing, security, support) even after unsubscribing.

You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing support@paw-plan.com with the subject line "Unsubscribe".

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy:

  • Account information — for as long as your account is active and for a short period afterward to allow for reactivation, dispute handling, and operational needs.
  • Information about your dog — alongside your account information; deleted when your account is deleted.
  • Marketing-list data — until you unsubscribe or your account is deleted.
  • Transactional and billing records — retained for as long as required by applicable tax, accounting, and consumer-protection law (typically up to seven years), even after account deletion.
  • Logs and analytics data — retained in aggregated or de-identified form for a limited period for security, debugging, and product-improvement purposes.

When we no longer have a legitimate business or legal need to retain personal information, we delete it or de-identify it.

9. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and security monitoring.

No security measure is perfect. You can help protect your information by using a strong, unique password and by notifying us at support@paw-plan.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

10. International Data Processing

The Service is operated for users in the United States. However, certain service providers we rely on may process data outside the United States. In particular:

  • Our application backend is hosted on OVH, a European hosting provider. Some of your account and dog-profile information may therefore be stored on servers located in the European Economic Area.
  • Cloudflare routes traffic through a global edge network.

Where personal information is transferred outside your country of residence, we take steps designed to ensure that it continues to be protected to a standard consistent with this Policy.

11. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@paw-plan.com and we will delete the information promptly.

12. Third-Party Links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (for example, Whop). This Policy does not apply to those third parties. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any third party before providing them with personal information.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at paw-plan.com/privacy and update the "Effective Date" at the top. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or through a prominent notice on the Service) before the changes take effect.

Your continued use of the Service after the new Effective Date means you accept the updated Policy.
